Our products support state requirements for NGSS, AP, and more. Transparent to the wavelength of light required for the purpose. Absorbance studies have become a base for examining various solutions and particles. Under these, the light gets passed through the solutions in a defined format. BrandTech also manufacuresUV CuvettesandVis (PS/ PMMA) Cuvettes. PS and UV-cuvettes can be used in temperaures up to 70 °C.
UV quartz cuvettes for UV light are suitable for transmission wavelengths from 190nm to 2,500nm and are also available in a range of path lengths. A Cuvette is a kind of laboratory glassware, usually a small square tube, sealed at one end, made of plastic, glass, or optical grade quartz and designed to hold samples for spectroscopic experiments. Irrespective of the material selected it must be borne in mind that cuvettes, except for transparent plastic cuvettes, are fragile and require careful handling. ICL’s cells and cuvettes meet the most exacting requirements of modern spectrophotometric procedures. Glass Spectrophotometer Cuvettes, For Chemical Laboratory
Sourcing from MxRady you can be assured that the cuvette or cell that you procure will be of the highest manufacturing standards. All of the cuvettes and cells that we supply are produced only from the highest quality quartz and optical glass. The cuvette you select for a sample must be transparent to the wavelengths used during the chemical analysis. The two most common cuvette materials are glass and quartz. However, factors like transmission range, cost and work environment will influence which material best suits your unique application. Micro Cell With Frosted Walls And Lid Type 18
Made from JGS1 UV-grade fused silica, absorption onset occurs below 170 nm and there are no absorption bands situated between 170 nm and 250 nm. Exceptionally high transmittance across the UVB, UVA, visible spectrum, and near IR. The transmission spectra for our UV quartz cells can be seen below. When working in the IR spectra, especially for wavelengths greater than 2000 nm, we recommend IR Quartz Glass Cuvettes instead, as they offer high transmission for these wavelengths. Some cuvettes will be clear only on opposite sides, so that they pass a single beam of light through that pair of sides; often the unclear sides have ridges or are rough to allow easy handling. On customer’s request they can be replaced with crystal quartz, sapphire or silicon windows. IR quartz has a usable wavelength range of 220 to spectrophotometer cuvette size 3,500 nm. It is more resistant to chemical attack from the sample solution than other types designed for fluorescence measurements.
